I believe that the N.T. Church and Christianity has failed in its mission by refusal. (Mat 28:19-20) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

The command given to the N.T. Church was to go into our community first and take the Gospel Of Jesus Christ. That Gospel will change the community. Most churches are changing Christ to fit their community.

He has been changed into an entertainment Christ.
He has been changed into a social Christ.
He has been changed into a Christ with no standards.

Our mandate is to take the Gospel of Jesus Christ to every creature of the world. Our failure is, we have refused to follow this. We have not been unsuccessful because of lack of equipment or knowledge. We have enough Christians alive this very minute to fulfil this command this year. We just need to find the motivation to get up and "GO".

Amen! "GO" is easy. Critics are abounding today of different modes of evangelism. Yet, many critics would be embarrassed if they had to give a testimony of the last time they shared the Gospel with someone.

That'll preach, brother!

If the great commission is not part of the church's mission statement, it is not a new testament church.
