John 3:2 “ We know thou art a teacher come from God.”
1. He knew more about Science than earth’s greatest minds.
2. He knew more about Astrology than earth’s greatest astrologers.
3. He knew more about Math than earth’s greatest mathematicians.
4. He knew more about Medicine than earth’s greatest doctors.
5. He knew more about Art that earth’s greatest artists.
6. He knew more about Music than earth’s greatest musicians.
7. He knew more about Agriculture than earth’s greatest farmers.
8. He knew more about teaching that earth’s greatest teachers.
Consider the simplicity, beauty, and direct appeal of the stories of “The Prodical,” “The Good Samatrian,” “The Lost Sheep,” “The Wedding Feast,” “The 10 Virgins,” and “The Parable of The Sower.”
I. HE TAUGHT THEM AS ONE HAVING AUTHORITY. (Mt. 7:29)
We never hear Him say, “I think, We suppose, Possibly, Probably, Maybe.” His authority was voiced in the words, ”It is written.”
II. HE SPOKE WITH GRACE. (Luke 4:22)
His love could always be felt in His words. Kindness was exemplified in His methods.
III. HE TOLD HIS HEARERS TRUTH. (John 8:40)
Heaven’s Gate crowd were oozing with love but no truth.
IV. HE SPOKE WITH SIMPLICITY & THE COMMON PEOPLE HEARD HIM GLADLY. (Mk. 12:37)
V. HE SPOKE AS ONE WHO HAD A MESSAGE FROM GOD. (John 12:49)
