The Origin of Peace.

With others.
Proverbs 16:7 – When a man’s ways please the Lord, He makes even his enemies to be at peace with him. (Think of Joseph in Egypt, Daniel in Babylon)

With myself.
Romans 15:13 – Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace…
Philippians 4:7 – And the peace of God … shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
2 Thessalonians 3:16 – Now the Lord of peace Himself give you peace…

With God.
Romans 5:1 – Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through Jesus Christ.
Colossians 1:20 – And, having made peace through the blood of his cross…
Isaiah 53:5 – But He was wounded for our transgressions … the chastisement of our peace was upon Him… (The "chastisement of our peace" refers to the penalty required to establish peace between men and God. Jesus took that penalty upon Himself to make our peace with God.)
Isaiah 48:22 – There is no peace, saith the LORD, unto the wicked.

These verses make clear that peace in every form originates with God. He is "The God of Peace." (Romans 15:33, 16:20; Philippians 4:9; 1 Thessalonians 5:23; Hebrews 13:20.) He "blesses His people with peace" (Psalm 29:11) and "speaks peace unto His people" (Psalm 85:8). Apart from Him, there is no true experience of peace.
