Pr 3:5-6 Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
There are times in our lives that we just feel hopeless and helpless. I am no different than any other person that is trying to live for God and do right, sometimes things just get to the point that we cannot control them.
We want to take control and make things better, we want to make things work, but sometimes, all that we do is not enough or just makes things worse.
It is easy to use religious clichés and say things we have heard, but these times are very real and they are very fearful. These confusing and fearful times are some of the most dangerous times in our lives.
It is in these times the Devil will hide from us the things and the facts we need to survive spiritually. He will hide God’s past blessings, he will hide the great truth of God’s Word and he will hide plain common sense from us.
I have seen people get to these times in their lives and throw away everything they have worked many years to obtain. Some throw away their Christian testimonies, some throw away their ministries, some throw away the will of God for their lives and some even throw away their families and their homes.
