DON’T BE A BABY

1 Cor 3:1-3
Scientifically a baby is from 0 to 2 yrs old - to be a baby- but not necessarily so! According to my mamas and daddys will will ALWAYS have our babies!
Your age does not necessairyl detrmine your maturity.

Gatlinburg At GUINESS BOOK Heaviest Birth--- The heaviest baby born to a healthy mother was a boy weighing 22 lb 8 oz who was born in Aversa, Italy in September 1955.
---- but I have seen some much BIGGER BABIES!
I measured myself at 3 places still 5' 10" I haven't grown an inch taller since I was 14. I have grown more than a few inches around though! Over 8"

And I have grown heavier!
I have grown grown stronger-
I've grown smarter-
I've grown wiser- a little at least-
I've grown more patient-
grown weary of certain things that used to interest me
grown used to some things that were before difficult
My wife has grown better looking-

Growth is the goal of the Christian. Maturity is mandatory for every child of God. When a Christian stops growing he starts backsliding; you never stay the same. If you are the same Christian today that you were a year ago, you are not the Christian that you ought to be..

Growth is God's method. We must all grow- even Jesus grew. JESUS CHRIST Is described as growing "in wisdom, and stature, and in favor with God and man" (Luke 2: 52).That is the way we should grow. It is 4 dimensional growth:Intellectual, Physical, Spiritual, & Social. HE GREW INTELLECTUALLY - wisdom…..HE GREW PHYSICALLY - stature…HE GREW SPIRITUALLY - favor with God….HE GREW SOCIALLY - favor with man

Does your spiritual maturity correspond to your chronological age in Christ? Are you a stunted saint?

Perfect means mature- where it should be. A perfect 10 is not absolutely perfect-but close as it can be. Bible uses term correctly. A consistent Christian character!
It is a BIG subject of the New Testament! Peter, James and Paul all have a lot to say about it.

No matter how long we have been saved, we still need to continue growing….God wants you to grow up. Your Heavenly Father's goal is for you to mature and to become more like Jesus everyday. Instead millions grow older , but they never grow up.
